We realise that there are many people who wish to support us but cannot make the journey to visit us in Kenya. Our help at home program allows people around the world to support our efforts in kisii by holding fundraising events, collecting supplies such as clothing, exercise books, pens, sporting equipment, tools, computers, books and teaching aids for use at Almosi Vision Children's Home. AVCH supports children who have been orphaned by the HIV/AIDS epidemic, as well as local street kids, vulnerable children and the local community children who have no or little access to education and health care. Community classes are currently being held for children in the Bosongo  area of Ksii. The children´s ages range from 5 to 15 years old. Many of the children have never attended school as they cannot afford it. We are holding classes in an unfinished house which the owner has kindly allowed us to use whilst we are awaiting construction of the centre.
